In the early stages of visual development, babies' eyes can only distinguish between light and dark colors. High-contrast board books are designed to stimulate and support a baby’s developing vision during this time.

Inspired by this, I wanted to create a high-contrast book with a simple, universal story open to interpretation. My goal was to engage the reader, stimulate a baby's eyes and brain, and reflect the growth, change, and potential found within every child, person, and the world around us.
